1. Who we are

RSBuild.io (“RSBuild”, “we”, “our”, “us”) is a social platform for car enthusiasts to share builds, photos, updates, messages, and other user-generated content.

By accessing or using RSBuild.io, you agree to these Terms of Use. If you do not agree, you must not use the platform.

2. Eligibility and accounts

You must be at least 16 years old to use RSBuild.io. By using the platform, you confirm that you meet this requirement.

If you are under 18, you must only use RSBuild.io with the permission of a parent or legal guardian.

You are responsible for your account, login details, and all activity carried out through your account. You must provide accurate information and keep your account details up to date.

We may suspend, restrict, or terminate your account if you breach these Terms, create risk for other users, or where we reasonably believe action is required for legal, safety, or platform integrity reasons.

3. Acceptable use

You must use RSBuild.io lawfully and responsibly.

You must not post, upload, message, promote, organise, encourage, or share content that:

• promotes illegal street racing, dangerous driving, reckless stunts, or speeding on public roads;
• encourages unlawful vehicle use or behaviour likely to endanger any person;
• is abusive, threatening, hateful, harassing, or intended to bully another person;
• shares someone else’s personal, private, or identifying information without permission;
• is fraudulent, deceptive, misleading, or intended to scam other users;
• infringes intellectual property rights, privacy rights, or other legal rights;
• contains malware, harmful code, spam, or attempts to disrupt the platform; or
• is otherwise unlawful, harmful, obscene, or inappropriate for a user-to-user service.

Any content or behaviour that promotes unsafe or illegal driving is strictly prohibited.

4. User content and intellectual property

You retain ownership of the content you create and post on RSBuild.io, including text, images, comments, messages, profile content, and build updates (“User Content”).

By posting or uploading User Content to RSBuild.io, you grant us a non-exclusive, worldwide, royalty-free licence to host, store, reproduce, adapt, display, publish, distribute, and otherwise use that User Content for the purposes of operating, securing, improving, moderating, and promoting the platform.

This licence is limited to operation and promotion of RSBuild.io. You confirm that you have the rights needed to post the content you upload and that your User Content does not infringe the rights of any third party.

We may remove, restrict, or disable access to User Content where we reasonably believe it breaches these Terms, creates risk, or is otherwise inappropriate for the platform.

5. User-to-user interactions, meetups, and transactions

RSBuild.io is a user-to-user platform. We do not organise, supervise, verify, or control private interactions, meetups, events, sales, swaps, purchases, or arrangements made between users.

Any interaction between users, whether online or in person, is entirely at your own risk. This includes car meets, private messages, social arrangements, and any exchange of money, goods, services, or vehicle-related items.

You are solely responsible for deciding whether to meet, communicate with, or transact with another user, and for taking appropriate precautions when doing so.

If you are under 18, you should not arrange in-person meetings or transactions through the platform without appropriate supervision.

6. Vehicle content and advice disclaimer

RSBuild.io may contain user-generated posts and discussions relating to vehicles, modifications, tuning, maintenance, repairs, parts, road use, and performance.

That content is provided by users, not by RSBuild.io. We do not verify or guarantee that any vehicle-related content, recommendation, guide, or opinion is accurate, complete, safe, road-legal, or suitable for your specific vehicle or circumstances.

Any action you take based on content found on RSBuild.io is your responsibility. You should obtain appropriate professional, mechanical, legal, insurance, or safety advice where needed.

7. Moderation, reporting, and safety

We may review, remove, restrict, filter, or disable access to content, accounts, features, or messages where we reasonably believe this is necessary to enforce these Terms, protect users or the public, investigate abuse or harmful conduct, or comply with applicable law.

Users may be able to report content or behaviour. We may investigate reports and take action including warnings, content removal, temporary restrictions, or permanent suspension.

8. Commercial content and advertising disclosures

If you post sponsored content, affiliate content, paid promotions, brand collaborations, or other commercial material, you must clearly disclose that relationship in a way that complies with applicable UK advertising and consumer protection rules.

Where appropriate, this may include clear labels such as #ad, ad, sponsored, or equivalent wording that is easy for users to understand.

9. Data protection and privacy

We process personal data in accordance with applicable UK data protection law, including the UK GDPR and the Data Protection Act 2018.

10. Liability

Nothing in these Terms excludes or limits liability where it would be unlawful to do so. This includes liability for death or personal injury caused by negligence, fraud, or any other liability that cannot legally be excluded or limited under the laws of England and Wales.

Subject to that, RSBuild.io is provided on an “as available” basis. We do not guarantee uninterrupted access, error-free operation, or that user content will always be accurate, complete, safe, or reliable.

Subject to applicable law, we will not be liable for losses arising from user-generated content, reliance on vehicle advice or opinions posted by users, or meetups, private interactions, transactions, or arrangements between users.

11. Suspension and termination

We may suspend, limit, or terminate access to all or part of RSBuild.io if you breach these Terms, create risk, misuse the platform, or where we reasonably believe action is required for legal, operational, or safety reasons.

You may stop using RSBuild.io at any time.

12. Changes to these Terms

We may update these Terms from time to time to reflect legal, technical, operational, or service changes. The latest version will always be published on this page.

By continuing to use RSBuild.io after updated Terms take effect, you agree to the revised Terms.

13. Governing law

These Terms and any non-contractual obligations arising out of or in connection with them are governed by the laws of England and Wales.

The courts of England and Wales will have jurisdiction, except where applicable consumer law allows otherwise.
